Pedro & Gabby’s fabulous wedding was held at Flagstaff Hill on a sunny Wollongong day.. No bridal party, just the two of them. Their intimate ceremony left for a personal experience and Lifehouse’s “You and Me” brought a tear to her eyes.. We then headed off to the Botanical Gardens and Wollongong Harbour for the fun stuff.. This shot is one of my favourites.. it simply depicts who they are.. fun loving, bubbly and best friends.. Pedro is full of surprises.. Gabby is a perfectionist.. together they make an inseperable entity. I love them to pieces and they let their hair out on their special day..

Alicia and Ash | Bella Chara Wedding Photography

Where do I start? Their vintage / country style relaxed theme suited their personalities. They met at the University of Canberra and have been inseperable ever since. Ash has this way of making Alicia laugh.. everytime. Alicia is one of the most warm hearted people you will ever meet. She’s gorgeous inside and out. Jason and Tracy Wedding | The Harbourfront Wollongong

Jason and Tracy’s wedding was at the Fabulous Harbourfront Restaurant in Wollongong on the water. Amazing view, breathtaking scene and nothing but top notch service. This shot was taken just before we all entered the reception venue to the Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling” ..pretty awesome entrance I must say. The boys decided to make their own rules by wearing semi-casual black shorts and the girls looked I quote ”HaWt” hehe. There’s the made up word of the day. I loved their fun nature and all the hard work they put into their special day.

Raquel & Aaron – Wollongong CBD

Aaron and Quel were married in October in 2009 and they were able to relive their wedding day memories on an exclusive bridal shoot with Powder Puff Make Up Artistry. I have worked with Cortney before and her make up is always flawless without fail. We headed out to the rustic streets of Wollongong’s CBD and found Oh-So-Yummy textures. I was so stoked with the results having overcast skies which had me dancing in the streets (Ok that’s the best my play on words get.. I’ll just stick to photography hehe). But in a nutshell, 3.5 hours of shooting, walking, talking and laughing I could not have asked for more. Quel brought it to the stage and Aaron having been a little hesitant before the shoot, came out of it without a peep of a whinge (you know as boys like to do constantly.) Pretty light, pretty couple and well.. a not so pretty location.. but that was the contrast in beauty I was going for. It’s not Wollongong light house but I have grown a huge affection for shooting in City Scapes. This is my favourite image from the day. It’s so them! And shooting them I have to say was as easy as ABC.. when a couple are that in love, everything just falls into place.

Elisha & Josh’s Wedding | The Harbourfront | Wollongong Wedding Photographer

Josh & Elisha’s wedding at the harbour front was stunning.. breath taking views, spikey beac theme and well.. not so good 43 degree heat.. But we stuck it out and every just let their hair out at the reception.

Alyce & Robin Wedding | Ryde Wedding Photography

Alyce & Robin’s wedding in Ryde the other day was sensational. The day went so quick and there were (as the singing bass would say) ‘No Worries!’ When I’d first met Alyce I couldn’t help but notice her unforgettable laugh and her non-stop talkative natures. It was a pretty dangerous conversation with two people like us LOL We could have talked til the sun went down hehe. On the wedding day I showed up to a humble family shovelling lasagne down my mouth before I could say ‘Hello!’ It was some good lasagne I have to say!

Sarah-Louise and Scott | Sandon Point Wedding | Bulli

Sarah Louise Clemmett (aka Clemmett) and Scott Flower (aka Petal) had their gorgeous beach ceremony at the one and only Sandon Point. Sarah Louise and Scott were awesome enough to try what us photographers call “The First Look”. It’s an opportunity for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony and have their own moment.. just the two of them. Juxtaposed the love of this couple with this beaten down location made some effective wedding shots. I adore them in a nutshell and had an absolute ball on their wedding day. Therese & Gerardo – Wedding Day – Portofino, Port Kembla

I think there’s power in seperating a Bride and Groom in a photo.. Gives a hint of fashion and these two rocked it out on their wedding day. We shot in one of my favourite spots, Port Kembla. Love this suburb, although the Lighthouse is very common theu decided they wanted something a little different.. And boy and I glad they did, we spent the majority of our time here and although it poured rain for 15 minutes the man upstairs was on our side.

Couple Shoot – Jess & Tyson – Wollongong CBD

A month ago we headed out into Wollongong’s CBD.. I attend BNI Networking every Thursday morning at 7, everytime I make my way home I purposely drive down Market St for inspiration. I LOVE shooting in rustic unique locations. I love the beach,the gardens and Wollongong lighthouse.. although there’s something new and fresh that our CBD has to offer. I can not wait to shoot some future weddings here. For brides to step out of their comfort zone and try something new makes me smile :) Jess and Tyson were fun, vibrant and totally played the part. I love this shot, simply because it’s so them! Tyson, although he plays footy and likes to upkeep his reputation of masculinity, is so gentle towards Jess. And Jess herself.. well, she’s like a human Starburst. Bright, sweet and could have a dose of her anytime of day. She rocks.
