Kylie & John – Wedding Day Sept 2009 – Sutherland Wedding Photographer
Kylie and John had their wedding last September and it was one of the earliest weddings I shot in my 2 years of being a wedding photographer. It seems like yonks ago I was shooting in the yummy diffused light at Log Cabin Inn in Sydney celebrating the wedding day of these two quirky, awesome people. Their reception was intimate and consisted of about 45 guests. Kylie amazed me with her voice just before the first dance. She sung ‘Atlast’ by Etta James, same song I sung for my Yr 12 HSC performance. Good times.
The highlight of the wedding was the sudden storm that occured during the ceremony. It was too much to bare after 5 minutes, so everyone rushed inside and I stopped to look at the gazebo for a split second.. It was the best man reaching to grab the book/cert they signed and forgot to take with them.. to fall and slip on his behind in the blink of an eye. White suit + falling over in the rain.. not so good.

Yes, cheezy photoshop effects like grain and light rendering can be booed upon but hey.. it was a year ago. Seemed like a good idea at the time ;)
