Michelle & Glenn – Novatel North Beach – Illawarra Wedding Photographer

The wedding day of Glenn and Michelle.. Amazing! From their rockin’ HUMMER, to their beautiful reception at Novatel North Beach and to their stunning ceremony on Flagstaff Hill.. Now me being a wollongong wedding photographer, I have shot many weddings at Flagstaff and am familiar with how beautiful the entire atmosphere of the lighthouses and the harbour is. So here we go, Glenn and Michelle, two very amazing people. I first met them at their house in Flinders and as I got to know them I found Michelle to be very much like me! Cheeky-crazy, craves attention after stubbing her toe.. and totally head over heels (in a ‘stalker’ way as Glenn says). They’re both martial arts instructors which put a little pressure on me with shooting their wedding day LOL ..Ok I’m kidding, but still that’s kind of scary that at any time they could open a can of whoop-a*s on me. hehe. The day unfolded with laughter, tears, fun and more fun. The hummer stereo was cranking between bridal party photo locations, the Faith Hill song played before the ceremony as a tribute to Michelles father brought a tear to everyone’s eye and the best man’s speech forced the entire room to giggle at some stage.

The hummer shot.. Chelle reminds me of a fashion model posing for a bridal shoot. Not sure if the Hummer guy appreciated her sitting on the bonnet but the shot was worth it! ..I think he would agree :)

Now what type of Wollongong Wedding would this be if we didn’t get shots of the lighthouse? First one was used with some off camera flash and the second with natural light, love the sun streak!
